A member of the Oyo State house of Assembly and Chairman, House Committee on security matters, Hon Akeem Obadara has disclosed that the high spate of insecurity across the state should be traced to handiworks of opposition parties in the state.
Hon Obadara made this disclosure while featuring on Lagelu FM Saturday morning programme “Bosenlo” anchored by Ajibola Akinyefa.
Hon Obadara explained that because of the local government election coming up soon in the state, opposition parties are making use of every opportunity to discredit the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
He said that the state legislative house is already in consultation with various security agents in the state to ensure normalcy and peace is restored to Ibadanland and the state as a whole.
Hon Obadara appealed to all well meaning individuals and groups across the state to cooperate with the state government in order to ensure security of lives and properties across the State.
