Nigeria Union Journalists, NUJ, Oyo State Council has conferred an award of Model Muslim Family Of The Year on the family of Senator Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi.
Akanbi who represented Oyo South Senatorial District, Oyo State at the Red Chamber of National Assembly, between 2015-2019 received the award during the last press week of Oyo NUJ.
In his gratitude, Akanbi appreciated Oyo NUJ under the current leadership of Comrade Ademola Babalola for his ability to identify him and his family with such prestigious award.
Stressing an award received was a challenge and his consistent adherence to ones of Allah.
He stressed that he and his family would maintain statusquo on purpose they were considered for the award.
Praying God to continue to guide and guard Ademola Babalola’s led administration.
