The Speaker, Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Funminiyi Afuye, is dead.
It was gathered that Afuye died of cardiac arrest at the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital,Ado-Ekiti, on Wednesday evening.
The Speaker, according to reports, was rushed to the hospital in the early hours of Wednesday.
Afuye inspected some ongoing road projects with the newly inaugurated governor of the state, Biodun Oyebanji, on Monday.
