Olokolonigi II has enjoined sons and daughters of the ancient town to join him in 3-day fasting and prayer as Ilero day 2022 approaches.
The monarch made this admonition via his Facebook page on Monday, October 31st.
Kabiyesi, the Elero of Ilero, Oba Wasiu Saka Oyedele Olokolonigi II has asked all sons and daughters of Ilero, home and abroad for sustained prayers for the betterment and development of Ilero.
To this end, the monarch has enjoined his subjects to join him in a three day fasting and prayers, which will commence on 1st, 2nd and 3rd of November 2022.
“It is the wish of Kabiyesi that this spiritual engagement is also directed at seeking the face of God in making the coming Ilero Day Celebration a huge success”.
Kabiyesi appreciates the enormous supports and contributions of his subjects, as he hopes this will also be brought to bear in this three days’ fasting and prayers.
