The Founder, Christ The Light Ministry, Ibadan, Bishop Solomon Aremu has said that a true Christian does not become a traditional king without a cause.
Bishop Aremu state this in a media chat as the Nigeria Association of Christians Journalists paid him a courtesy visit at his recently completed ultra modern catheral at Ologuneru, Ibadan on Tuesday.
The cleric noted that the Holy Bible frowns at a serious christian embracing traditional leadership, adding that such when offered Jesus Christ in his time was rejected.
” My kingdom is not this world”, he said.
However, Bishop Aremu emphasized that there is no how a traditional king would be selected without having to visit ancient seclusion villages, while his refusal might lead to upturn of his reign, counted a blasphemy to the gods by the kingmakers who work on the mandate receive from the god of light.
