I read your wishes and prayers, and it all melted my heart. So much. Yesterday, on my birthday, messages poured in from friends and associates around the world. Aseyori Support Group (ASG), Political admirers of note, party stalwarts, and even those I least expected to hear from, each one carried a warmth that left me deeply touched. The sheer number and sincerity of these greetings, the simple notes, smile, or even lengthy reflections, all filled me with delight, a joy that comes from knowing the intentionality people took and the time to reach out. To everyone who sent a word, made a call, or shared a memory, I say thank you from the bottom of my heart; your kindness made the day feel like a true celebration it is and it reminds me how important we mean to one another.
The response was so massive that I felt overwhelmed. I felt a wave of emotion washing over me as I scrolled through the outpouring of love. It wasn’t just the quantity but the depth, stories from old classmates in Nigeria, encouragement from colleagues and associates in Australia, and well-wishes from partners in the UK and beyond. This flood of affection moved me, really, it stirred something inside that made me pause and absorb the reality of it all. I know the world we live is one where days rush by, to have so many pauses for me was a gift I didn’t anticipate, and it left me emotionally touched and grateful for the bonds that hold us together.
More so, yesterday made me feel so humbled by the kind of relationships I’ve built over the decades and the connections through years of quiet work in politics, philanthropy, and community service. These ties have grown into a network of trust and mutual respect. The political admirers who see in me a hope for Oyo State, the associates who’ve joined in efforts to build-up the less fortunate; these are the people who reached out and count, and they all jostled me back to the reality that true relationships are about giving without expectation. This humility comes from knowing that my path has been enriched by others, and their support on this day reinforces my drive to give back even more.

Finally, I must thank the children and staff members of Attaofeequ Billahi International School (ABIS), both primary and secondary, for their special program to mark my birthday. The competitions you organised, with prizes for the winners and the prayers you offered, created a moment of pure joy that captured the spirit of learning, mutual respect, and admiration for me. As the proprietor, I am proud to see how you’ve turned a simple day into a day that is worthy in every sense of it, and showed that the values we instil is deserving of the efforts we put to it. What you have done touches me deeply, and I pray for your continued success, knowing that you are the future we all work toward.

Thank you all for the beautiful tribute; it means the world to me. God bless you, indeed.
