As part of my wide consultations and grassroots engagement ahead of the 2027 governorship election in Oyo State, I met with members of the G9, G64 and critical APC stakeholders across Ibarapa Land, where I formally declared my intention to contest for the office of Governor of Oyo State under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

During the meeting, I presented my book titled Our Realistic Tomorrow: A Blueprint of Leadership and Progress for Oyo State, which encapsulates my vision, policy direction, and practical roadmap for repositioning the state through purposeful leadership, inclusive governance, and sustainable development.

I explained to the leaders and stakeholders that my aspiration is anchored on the urgent need to rescue Oyo State from stagnation and to restore hope through people-centred policies, economic empowerment, security, quality education, healthcare delivery, and infrastructural renewal across all zones of the state, including Ibarapa Land.

I used the opportunity to seek their counsel, support, and partnership, assuring them that my leadership philosophy prioritises grassroots development, unity within the party, and collective ownership of governance. I reaffirmed my belief that the APC remains the most credible platform to deliver progressive governance and real development to the people of Oyo State.

The G9, G64 and Ibarapa APC stakeholders received me warmly, commended the clarity of my vision, and encouraged sustained engagement with party structures and community leaders as the journey towards 2027 continues.

I remain deeply grateful for the reception and constructive engagement, and I am confident that with unity, sincerity, and commitment, together we can build a realistic tomorrow for Oyo State.
