

In a show of solidarity and support, a prominent Ibadan mogaji, Alhaji Abass Oloko, has thrown his weight behind the appointment of Prince Adebayo Adegbola as the new Eleruwa of Eruwa. The coronation ceremony is slated for Saturday, June 28, 2025.

In a statement, Mogaji Abass Oloko, a respected figure in Ibadan, expressed his unalloyed delight at the appointment of Prince Adegbola, describing him as a friend of Ibadanland and a man who has always aligned himself with the wishes of the people. “Prince Adegbola is a man who has never gone against any wish of Ibadanland. He is a friend to all and has always worked towards the betterment of our great land,” Alhaji Oloko said.


Mogaji Oloko commended the Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, for appointing Prince Adegbbola as the new Eleruwa of Eruwa. According to him, the governor has put the right to appoint the right person. “Governor Makinde has shown great wisdom in appointing Prince Adegbola as the new Eleruwa of Eruwa. He has put the right peg on the right hole, and we are confident that Prince Adegbola will make a great king,” Alhaji Oloko said.
As a token of their support, the Ibadan Mogajis’ have extended their warmest congratulations to Prince Adegbola on his appointment. “We congratulate Prince Adegbola on his appointment as the new Eleruwa of Eruwa. We are confident that his leadership will usher in a new era of peace and prosperity for the people of Eruwa,” they said.
The Mogajis’ described Prince Adegbola as a peaceful man who will bring stability and progress to the kingdom. “Ibadan mogajis’ are in full support of your leadership, Prince Adegbola. We believe in your ability to lead and make wise decisions that will benefit the good people of ERUWA and Oyo State at large,” Alhaji Oloko added.
