The Polytechnic Ibadan, Faculty of Engineering recently presented a prestigious Leadership Excellence Award to Hon. (Dr.) Bisi Oluranti Oyewo Micheal, a member representing Ogbomoso North Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly. This honor was bestowed upon her during the 6th National Engineering Conference, themed “Science, Technology, Engineering, Environment, and Management” (STEEM 2025).
The conference, scheduled from June 30th to July 4th, 2025, at the North Campus Assembly Hall of The Polytechnic Ibadan, aims to promote sustainable development and innovation in science, technology, engineering, environment, and management. Hon. (Dr.) Bisi Oluranti Oyewo Micheal’s dedication to leadership excellence and her contributions to the development of her constituency and the state were recognized and celebrated through this award.
The presentation of the award was attended by notable figures, including the Rector of The Polytechnic Ibadan, Dr. Taiwo Abideen Lasisi, Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Staff Pension Board (LGSPB), Hon. Akeem Ige, and Hon. Olajide Olatoye (Big Daddy), among others.
The acting Librarian of The Polytechnic Ibadan presented the award to Hon. (Dr.) Bisi Oluranti Oyewo Micheal, saying, “Distinguished guests, esteemed colleagues, and honored awardees, it is my pleasure to present the Leadership Excellence Award to Hon. (Dr.) Bisi Oluranti Oyewo Micheal. This award recognizes her outstanding leadership and contributions to the development of her constituency and the state.

Speaking after the presentation of the award, Hon.
