The Chairman of Egbeda Local Government and Chairman of all Local Government Chairmen in Oyo State, Hon. Sanda Sikiru, has extended heartfelt congratulations to two prominent figures in Oyo State politics, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja and Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, as they celebrate their birthdays.
In a statement made available to newsmen, Hon. Sanda described Ambassador Arapaja as a quintessential leader whose life has been dedicated to public service, peacebuilding, and the upliftment of humanity. He lauded Ambassador Arapaja’s unwavering commitment to unity and progress within the PDP, noting that his wisdom, humility, and vast political experience have continued to inspire younger generations of leaders across the state and beyond.
“Ambassador Arapaja stands tall among Nigeria’s most respected political figures. His discipline, simplicity, and relentless pursuit of the common good have made him a pillar of political wisdom and a model of selfless leadership,” Hon. Sanda stated.
Hon. Sanda also acknowledged Ambassador Arapaja’s unflinching loyalty and partnership with His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, describing him as one of the governor’s most trusted allies whose contributions have significantly advanced the progress and development witnessed in Oyo State under Makinde’s leadership.
In the same vein, Hon. Sanda congratulated Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East local government, on his birthday, describing him as a dynamic youth and dependable ally in grassroots governance and a shining example of visionary leadership.
“Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo is a passionate mobilizer, whose leadership continues to inspire thousands of youths in Ibadan North East local government and Oyo State. His birthday is a celebration of resilience, political wisdom, and unrelenting service to the development of Ibadan North East Local Government and People’s Democratic Party,” Hon. Sanda added.
