CCII Names OTOPE, Oyo Liaison Office DG, Icon Of IBADAN HERITAGE At 2026 Cultural Festival

Ibadan, Oyo State – Hon. Chief (Dr.) Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji, widely known as OTOPE and currently serving Director General, Oyo State Liaison Office, Abuja & Lagos has been designated ICON of IBADAN HERITAGE by the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) under the banner of the Ibadan Cultural Festival 2026. The accolade, slated for formal presentation on 13 December 2025, celebrates his exemplary contributions to humanity and the sustained growth of Ibadan’s cultural and developmental landscape.

The recognition, announced publicly, highlights OTOPE’s impactful work across the region. Through his leadership in the liaison office, he has championed initiatives that bridge Oyo State and Lagos, fostering collaboration and advancing shared interests. CCII cited his dedication to preserving Ibadan’s heritage, promoting empowerment programmes, and driving community development as key factors behind the honour.

Reacting to the news, Dr. Oladimeji expressed profound gratitude. In a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Media, Segun Akinlabi, he remarked, “This award is a remarkable motivation to continue serving humanity, preserving our cultural legacy, and upholding the values that define Ibadan.” He extended thanks to the CCII leadership and membership for acknowledging his efforts, reaffirming his commitment to humanitarian causes and community progress.
