The Caretaker Chairman, Iganna Local Council Development Area, Iwajowa Local Government Area of Oyo State, Hon. Adeleke Olayiwola and his driver had been released from the captivity of the suspected kidnappers after paying the ransom of #5.5m.
According to the source who pleaded to act on a condition of anonymity for the sake of retribution said that the Council boss, Olayiwola and his driver were said to have been released on Saturday, October 30 along Ibadan-Iseyin after the suspected kidnappers had acknowledged the payment of #5.5m ransom.
Naijatodaynews.com gathered that they had been integrated with their families so as to ensure that they obtain the proper medical care and other needed attention.
Olayiwola and his driver were kidnapped last week by the suspected kidnappers at Olosan village along Adoawaye-Igbogaa axis of the Araromi LCDA, Iseyin Local Government of the State.
