Oyo State Government has indicated its readiness to pay Osun State Government the sum of #8b as asset sharing on Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomoso for three years.
This was disclosed today by Barrister Olasunkami, the Commissioner for Education shortly after the successful completion of State Executive Council Meeting, Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
He stated that the money would be paid in 4 tranches , reiterating that #1bn would be paid in January and another #1b in December, 2021.
Olasunkanmi added that #3b would also be paid in 2022 while the last tranche of #3b would be paid in 2023.
